Flamenco Fiesta de Abril at Teatro Paraguas 2016 Compañia Chuscales & Mina Fajardo “Una Nota de Lorca” Friday & Saturday, April 29 & 30 at 8PM Teatro Paraguas presents two evenings of flamenco music, dance and Spanish & English poetry inspired by Federico Garcia Lorca. Chuscales (Guitarist, Musical Director, Composer), a world-renowned guitarist of legendary technical and musical prowess, will be joined by fascinating group of flamenco artists, including Mina Fajardo (Artistic Director, Choreographer, Dancer), Fernando Barros Lirola (Singer, Historian, Author), Argos MacCallum (Actor), Alejandro Valle Fajardo (Percussionist) and Group of Fiesta Flamenca (Monze Diaz, Amanda Crocker, Zoe Whittle, Xochitle Ehrl, Heather Miro, Charles Brunn). This year will be the 80th Anniversary of Garcia Lorca’s death. Chuscales and Fernando Lirola, they both grew up in Lorca’s hometown Granada, Spain.
